On 21st September 2024, Sekolah Pilar Indonesia proudly presented a colossal drama titled “Raja Ampat: Asa dari Timur”. Inspired by the richness and beauty of the nature and culture of Raja Ampat, the Junior and Senior High School students engaged in the performance, singing, dancing, acting, and playing musical instruments. Le Fevre High School students, who participated in the student exchange programme, also had a chance to be involved.
Around five hundred audience members were stunned by the interesting plot, vibrant and dynamic dances, as well as beautiful singing and instrument playing, creating an atmosphere that immersed them in the culture of Papua.
This performance demonstrates Sekolah Pilar Indonesia’s commitment to preserving Indonesian culture and promoting awareness of Indonesia’s diverse and rich culture among the young generation.
