Turning Ideas into Concrete Actions for a Sustainable Future

On 31 July – 1 August 2025, Grade 11 students held their Personal Project Exhibition. The Personal Project aims to raise student awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and allows them to channel their creative ideas into tangible projects. This event provided a platform for students to demonstrate their talent, creativity, and commitment to creating positive change.

Bapak Dr. Iwan Kresna Setiadi, the Management Board of Sekolah Pilar Indonesia, expressed his full support for the programme. He believes that education that transforms lives is not only about academics but also about shaping a young generation that is empowered, innovative, and deeply concerned about the future of the world.

Students did not simply study theories in class; they applied them in real life. They learnt how to design, plan, and carry out a project from start to finish. Key 21st-century skills—critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration (the 4Cs)—were sharpened throughout the process. They learnt to work in teams, solve complex problems, and communicate their ideas with confidence.
