Grade 4 Students Exploring A Unit on Human Body Systems

Grade 4 students started term 2 by having an outdoor activity as the provocation of their new unit under the theme of Who We Are with the central idea "The effective interactions between human body systems contribute to health and survival.” The activities were tug of war, sack race and sprint. After they played those 3 games, they had a reflection to get some insights about the unit. They described  what they felt in their body parts after doing the games.

Grade 11 Presenting Their Maths-English Projects

On the 2nd Oktober 2018, Grade 11 students presented their English interlinked with Mathematics projects. “Which one is more powerful, the words or the pictures?” is the unit title of English for this term. We learnt about powerful and emotive language, persuasive essays, describing graphs, tables and charts and writing summaries.

Three Way Conference - Term 1 2018-2019

The Three-Way Conference is a method of reporting students’ learning. It is a good opportunity for students to review their learning goals. They set goals at the beginning of the semester and during the Three-Way Conference, they shared their progress with their goals. The parents and teachers then discussed strategies to support the students’ learning. Together, the three parties committed to work together. Supporting students is a collaborative effort.

Grade 4 and 6 Students Visiting the Office of Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT)

On Thursday, 20th September 2018, Grade 4 and Grade 6 students had an opportunity to visit the office of Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT). They followed a session on ACT profile and explanation about what to do when an earthquake happens. They also had a tour around the office. They could interact with and ask questions to all the staff. The students were so excited to find out more about what each division in ACT does.
